3 months in Burkina Faso

I’m back in France after almost 3 months in Burkina Faso. You may have noticed, I didn’t post a lot of articles on the blog. The reason is simple, it’s already so hard to analyze what was happening to me that I felt incapable to write about it. However, after these 3 months, I want to take time to tell you what I felt during my trip. There will be no city guide, I can’t tell you how to visit Burkina because I did it in a singular way and not like a tourist. So here are feelings that I felt in Burkina Faso, sometimes only one, sometimes all at the same time.  Read more

Bobo Dioulasso, the artist city

my trip in bobo dioulasso volunteering in ASOF association - dance travel - artist city - Dancer with a backpack

After spending a few weeks in a small city, the second stop of my Burkina trip is Bobo Dioulasso. According to my guide, it seems really promising, it is the second city of Burkina Faso and where a lot of the cultural manifestations are concentrated.

The official language is French, that will help me communicate with the population, however, a big part of Burkina people doesn’t speak French. They are speaking local languages, there are a lot of them and even more declinations of them. Read more

What’s in my backpack?

I spent hours on the internet trying to find the perfect backpack. I knew that I wanted a backpack where I could store safely my laptop (#geek) and where I could access my thing without putting everything out of it. Exit the classic backpack, I need a digital nomad backpack. Read more

The itinerary

Since I’m letting know people that I’m going to travel for a year, the first question that everyone is asking me is “where are you going to go?”. They always seem surprised that I don’t have a precise itinerary…

I currently only have the plane ticket to cross oceans with several months to get to appoint to another. I don’t yet know which road I’m going to take. I want to have the freedom to change my plan depending on what I love, the people that I meet, my moods, …
